The fight against terror continues 12 years after the 9-11 attacks. Two best friends are helping members of the military still in that battle by taking a 90 mile walk to Lambeau Field.
Shannon Anker and Chad Hintz call themselves the Old Dogs That Care. It's the fourth year the two will be making the trek. The retired Marines do it to raise money to provide care packages for the military.
"You put your pack on. You put your gear in it and you go. You do whatever your mission is . You sleep on the ground outside in the nature. That's what we wanted it to be as realistic to when we were in and what they're doing right now every day,” Explained Hitz.
The two are expected to arrive in Green Bay on Saturday around noon.
If you see them walking, they say you're welcome to walk a bit with them or say hello.
