Representative Scott Suder, Majority Leader of the Wisconsin State Assembly, has accepted the position of Division Administrator for the Division of Water, Compliance, and Consumer Affairs, according to a press released from Chairperson Phil Montgomery of the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
Montgomery said the transition will take place once Representative Suder has vacated his position within the Assembly.
"Scott and I have worked together closely in the past while we were both in the State Assembly and I look forward to his knowledge and expertise being a tremendous asset to the Commission," said Public Service Commission Chairperson Phil Montgomery. "Scott and I were first elected in 1998 and I have always been impressed with his work ethic and attention to detail, having him at the Commission will be of great benefit to the ratepayers of Wisconsin."
Rep. Suder was first elected to the State Assembly in 1998 and has been an instrumental part of a number of committees culminating in his election in 2010 to the Majority Leader's office. His decade and a half of intrinsic state knowledge will be instrumental in leading the Division of Water, Compliance, and Consumer Affairs.
