Three hunters are facing separate citations in Lincoln County after the sheriff's department says they entered private land and put up tree stands.
The DNR Recreation Deputy is reminding hunters to know the laws pertaining to county and private land. He says the most common citations on county land are ATVs traveling in restricted areas, erecting tree stands, and using climbing pegs.
The DNR also says it's the time of year when hunting shacks and tree stands are vulnerable to thieves.
