Like many kids, Philip Flory started his first day of high school on Tuesday.

"Govenrment, History, Math...I like those classes" said Flory.

But unlike most of his classmates he already has the next eight years of his life planned out.

"It's fun telling people I'm going to Marquette in four years".

And at only 15-years-old Philip is the youngest player ever recruited by Marquette head coach Buzz Williams.

"I went to an open gym, he (Buzz Williams) offered me a scholarship. He liked how I play and pass the ball, he likes that I am a family guy, because he is a family guy"

And the blue and gold runs deep in the Flory family blood. After graduating from Rhinelander High School his father Mike Flory was a star for the then Marquette Warriors.

"It's kind of unbelieveable that I played there and had a nice career and now we're going to be able to watch Philip play there in about four years from now" said Mike Flory.

And while the future at Marquette is bright we have to remember that Philip hasn't even had his first high school practice yet.

"Obviously he knows he has a lot to learn and he's going to be working hard which is what he has done up to this point that how he got to where he is" said Rapids head basketball coach Dan Witter.

So for right now Philip is just a regular nineth grader...with big dreams and a familiar future in store.
