A gas station owner who says his business will be negatively affected by a newly built overpass on Highway 51 will be in court tomorrow to present his case.

Raj Bhandari says his business, Buffalo Spirit Village Citgo, which is at the North Star Drive exit, will fail once the overpass is built because it will cut off access to the gas station from Highway 51.

Bhandari has met with state officials in Madison previously to argue his case. He and his family even walked to the state capital last year to try and prove their point.

The Department of Transportation says the plans for the overpass have been public for many years. Construction is scheduled to start on May 13th.
