Rafters Prep for Another Season

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are just a few days away from their season opener, and this season, they'll be led by Ruben Noriega, an assistant coach at the University of California Berkley.

Noreiga is taking over for Chris Ebright who was originally hired as manager, but recently took a job at Saginaw Valley State.

Saturday the Rafters kicked things off with their annual players and host families meeting over at the ballpark.

The Rafters first game of the season is Tuesday at Witter field against the Kenosha Kingfish..

And for the new guys on this year's squad, the most exciting part is the chance to play in the Northwood's League.
