We all know how expensive it can be to visit the dentist. But on Friday, it didn't cost a cent as Quirt Family Dentistry in Schofield did some community service.
They performed free cleanings, extractions, and fillings for people who otherwise could not afford it. Patients were served on a first-come, first-served basis while employees donated a day of work.
"My front tooth has been bothering me a lot so I took the opportunity and here I am!" exclaimed Jacqualine Faber of Ringle.
Quirt says they saw 51 patients in total. All in all they performed 24 cleanings, 23 extractions and 19 fillings at a cost of $12,150.
