March 4 marks the 15th anniversary of one of the most mysterious crimes in Dane County history.

On this day in 1998, in the small town of Dane, Father Alfred Kunz was found murdered at St. Michael's Church.

Investigators from the Dane County Sheriff's Office say the case is still open, and detectives are still working it on a weekly basis.

Some of the first investigators have retired, and they're hoping new detectives can find new information contained in the evidence.

To this date, deputies haven't named any suspects.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Dane County Sheriff's Office at 608-284-6800.
