A water main break on one of Wausau's busiest streets will cause headaches for motorist late Thursday through Friday as crews make repairs.
Early Thursday afternoon nearly a foot of water poured across Grand Avenue south of Ethel Street, near Lee's Chicken.
As of 3:30 p.m. traffic was slow, but all lanes were still open. Road crews said the majority of the repairs will be made overnight, however a detour is expected to be in place Thursday evening.
