Traffic on 9th Street from Bridge Street to Chicago Avenue and on Chicago Avenue from 8th Street to 9th Street in Wausau will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Monday, March 25 as the Fire Department participates in training exercise.
The residence, located at 827 Chicago Ave, was previously damaged by fire and was donated to the department.
Skills necessary for firefighting like command and control, pumping and water supply, ventilation and extinguishment will be practiced. These skills will be performed in context through live burns in an actual structure.
