It was a wet Saturday, but the rain certainly didn't dampen the spirits of those taking in the Portage County Fair.
Fair goers enjoyed animal judging, a parade, various stage shows and the market animal sale.
The market animal sale is put on in part by 4H members, who in addition to enjoying the fair are also celebrating the 100th birthday of 4H in Wisconsin.
Rebecca Smart belongs to the Stevens Point Miracles 4H Club. She tells NewsChannel 7 she's amazed by the club's long history.
"It's being part of something that even maybe your grandparents might have been in and its like sometimes when you read a book and you see those fairs and sometimes when 4H comes out it's like wow, I didn't know it was that far off."
This is the 88th year for the fair. You can join in on the fun all Labor Day Weekend. The fair wraps up on Monday evening.
