UPDATE: Tow Ban Lifted in Portage County
A tow ban issued Wednesday in Portage County has been lifted as weather conditions improved.
Vehicles that had become stuck or disabled, and were not an immediate traffic hazard, were marked and left until conditions improve, when their removal could be done more safely.
Occupants of disabled or stranded vehicles were taken to a safe location, where they waited until the weather allowed for towing operations to resume.
The tow ban was lifted at 7 pm on Wednesday night.
