The Everest Metro Police Department says they've gone through a list of 40 people provided to them by the public as possible suspects in an Aug. 15 robbery at Intercity State Bank in Weston. So far, no arrests have been made.
The incident happened in broad daylight and was captured by surveillance video. Police say the suspect implied a weapon, but did not show one. No on was injured.
The suspect did not wear gloves.
The FBI is assisting with the investigation, which is not unusual as the case is a federal offense.
The surveillance photos have been distributed to other law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest..
A robbery also occurred Aug. 6 at a bank in Hatley in eastern Marathon County. That robbery also remains unsolved. Investigators have not connected the two.
