Charges could be filed against the person who supplied Kayla Vanderwyst, 20, with heroin leading to her overdose death.

The Wood County Deputy Coroner Charles Evans confirms the Marshfield woman died on August 20 of a drug overdose. She was found in an apartment on East Fourth Avenue in Marshfield.

A call placed to the police department to see if anyone had been charged in the case was not returned, but Evans says he certain detectives are working to build a case against her supplier.
