Police: Cyclist maybe to Blame for Car vs. Bicycle Crash in Schofield

The Everest Metro Police Department says a bicyclist may be to blame for an accident Tuesday afternoon in Schofield.

Dispatch received a call of car vs. bicycle accident around 2:36 p.m. near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Business 51.

A Sergeant with the police department says a vehicle was heading east on Schofield Avenue and attempting to turn south on Business 51 when the bicyclist rode into the back of his car. A witness says the car had the green arrow.

The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital. The bicyclist's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
