Police: Aggressive Dog Killed in Marshfield

The Marshfield Police Department says an aggressive dog was killed Wednesday night after it charged at a police officer.

According to the incident report from the police department, officers responded to dog a large complaint on the 1000 block of E. Kalsched Street just before 8 p.m. Officers located the dog which was described as “aggressive” in the police report.

Police say the dog made it's way the Oak Grove Trailer Park on Peach Avenue when it charged at an officer who was following it on foot. The dog was shot as it charged at the officer and died.

The investigation will be forwarded to ordinance control officer to be determine if the owner will be charged.
