Plea Hearings Set for Couple in Wausau Road Rage Incident

A Menominee, Mich. couple charged after road rage incident earlier this month in Wausau are free on signature bonds.

Nicholas Flanagan, 30, and Jessica Ratliff, 26 are both charged with battery and disorderly conduct.

Police tell NewsChannel 7 it started Dec. 4 when the couple rammed an Appleton man's SUV after he passed their van on highway 29.

A 911 dispatcher told the Appleton man to pull off into Menards parking lot to wait for police.

The mans says Flanagan and Ratliff started to beat him and stab him with their keys, until he pulled his gun. Police say the man did have a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

Flanagan and Ratliff are expected to enter a plea to the charges on Feb. 20 in Marathon County Court.
