Plea Deal Expected for Suspect in Jan. Prostitution Sting

A 27-year-old Wausau man arrested during a prostitution sting in Wausau in January is scheduled to reach a plea deal with prosecutors, avoiding a jury trial.

According to court documents, Brandon Crum responded to an ad on The ad was posted by an undercover officer.

Investigators say Crum had couple hundred dollars worth of meth in his vehicle at the time of his arrest. According to court documents, Crum told investigators it was worth $275.

Detectives say the meth weighed 4.42 and Crum was expected to sell it later that night.

Crum is charged with delivering amphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and possession of methamphetamine.

The hearing is scheduled to being at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
