A Elmwood man has been arrested for his ninth drunken-driving offense. A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper arrested 51-year-old Gary T. Sueppel Sunday just after 9:00 AM. According to a press release from the State Patrol, a Sergeant and a Trooper were attempting to stop three vehicles traveling 85 miles per hour along eastbound I-90. The Trooper stopped the trailing vehicle and observed the driver appeared upset and nervous. The Trooper detected the odor of intoxicants. Sueppel was arrested without incident and taken to Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston for a blood draw. He was subsequently booked in Juneau County Jail.
