After suffering a torn ACL in his right knee thrice, and missing all of 2010 and 2011, 5th year senior Curt Phillips will make his first collegiate start Saturday at Indiana, out-practicing Danny O'Brien over the last week to earn the chance.
Bielema says the secrecy all week wasn't to deceive the Hoosiers or anyone else, but to give Phillips a chance to focus only on the game.
A Badger win Saturday puts them into the Big Ten title game.
