It's eye-popping artwork made out of a material we know well here in north central Wisconsin -- paper! Paper sculpter Calvin Nicholls' exhibit is on display at the Woodson Art Museum through April 7th. He says he blends his passion for wildlife, the natural world, and photography, to name a few, into the exhibit.
"There's a lot of mystery in this art form," says Nicholls. "I've got so many ideas and sketches ready to go. The collaborative part of the process is exciting where when I have an idea and I need to fill in gaps for detail, I spend time with wildlife handlers or photographers and really enjoy it."
