Everyone loves fireworks and the show that lights up the night sky. Many people don’t realize how long preparation takes to put on a good show though. It starts days before the show to ensure safety standards are met and that viewers will be safe.
Sky Painter Fireworks LLC is putting on the 4th of July celebration in Mosinee this year. Their preparation starts a couple of days before. It starts with sifting through shells to make the best show possible. Once the fireworks are set to go, the employees must arrange them so that the display is as close to perfect as it can get.
Tom Spranger, President of Sky Painter Fireworks said, “We hand select the shells that we want to use. We than color coordinate them depending on which shells we be blown off and according to what firework they may be.”
Sky Painter has even started training programs to help prevent injuries when lighting off fireworks. The instructional helps to teach people and emergency service providers on how to deal with a fireworks accident.
