Packing Healthy, but Filling Lunches for Your Kids

Federal guidelines require schools to offer more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and less fat. Students also get smaller portion sizes. As a result, many parents are sending their kids to school with cold lunch instead, but is it healthy?

A registered dietician with Aspirus stopped by Sunrise 7 Monday morning to show us some ways parents can pack healthy lunches. She says it's important to think outside the box when packing a lunch and to remember it doesn't just have to be sandwich and a bag of chips.
