A "win and in" situation in Chicago on Sunday, the green and gold came out with an NFC North Division Championship. Many fans were on the hunt for Championship gear early.
"I'm here to find some NFC North Championship stuff."
Phones rang off the hook at local sports apparel shops, all wanting the same thing: Green Bay Packers NFC North Championship gear.
Ben Voswisk has been a Packer backer his whole life, and he always heads to the store to find that championship apparel.
"Every time that they are in," said Voswick, "every time they win a championship or a division, or a Superbowl. Every time I can."
That demand was felt by many stores Sunday night...
"6:51pm yesterday," said sales associate at Packerland Plus, Ken Boho, "and I'm pretty sure the game got over with at about 6:30pm."
...and bright and early Monday morning.
"There has been, 5 or 6 people already that have called and asked us about hats and shirts," said manager of Hoffman's Hobbies, Jeff Campo.
While the win is a big one for fans, its good news for stores as well.
"Its good the Packers won," said Campo, "but even if the Bears would have won, our sales still would be strong because we have a lot of Bears stuff and a lot of bears fans."
Shelves may not showcase that 2013 NFC North gear quite yet, but when it gets to stores later this week, they'll be ready.
"I don't do anything to prepare for it, I just," said Boho, "do my job. deal with customers, put a smile on my face."
Many in Packer nation are hoping for more wins along the way.
