It's been years in the making, and now it's finally open.
The "Our Stories: The History of Marathon County" exhibit pays tribute to the people and places that made our area what it is today.

The exhibit is in the Woodson History Center, across from the Yawkey House. It is free and open to the public.

Tuesday - Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
Saturday - Sunday: 1pm - 4:30pm

You'll see everything from ancient Indian artifacts, to an old Marathon Rubber work station to a sweatshirt worn by one of Wausau's most well-known high school football coaches. The exhibit is interactive, complete with several sections that are designed specifically for you to touch.

The exhibit will be up and running for at least the next 10 years.
