Two northwoods sheriff's departments are investigating the apparent suicide of an inmate at the Forest County Jail.
According to a news release, the woman was found during the early morning hours of Dec. 23. She was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Oneida County will assist Forest County with the investigation.
The woman's name has not been released.
