A 55-year-old Oneida County accused of sexually exploiting his young son is scheduled to enter a plea Monday. Investigators say the man's computer had four images of the boy exposing himself to a web camera while his father looked on.
NewsChannel 7 is not releasing the suspect's name to protect the identity of his son.
According to court documents, the man's computer was seized after he was accused of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl in a separate criminal case. He was charged with four felony counts relating to sexually assaulting a child.
Investigators believe the man manufactured child pornography, but because they were unable to yet determine if the images had actually been shared, the man was not charged with more serious offenses.
Investigators say they are working with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children on this case.
He remains in custody in the Oneida County Jail on a $12,500 cash bond.
