One person is injured after a two-vehicle accident in Wausau.
It happened Sunday evening at the intersection of McIndoe and Third Street. A lieutenant with the Wausau Police Department tells NewsChannel 7, a vehicle traveling on 3rd Street, failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a vehicle traveling on McIndoe Street.
One person was transported to a Wausau hospital for minor injuries. Authorities say alcohol was not a factor. No names are being released at this time.
The lieutenant says several citations were issued, including operating while revoked, failure to stop at a stop sign, and a child safety restraint violation. He says one of the people involved in the crash was arrested on a Marathon County warrant.
