MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Thousands of people are lined up waiting to get into a rally with President Barack Obama and rocker Bruce Springsteen near the Capitol in Madison.
The stage for the rally is a block south of the Capitol, with its back to the city-county building facing the municipal building.
Air Force One landed at Dane County Regional Airport about 3 a.m. Monday in advance of the president's campaign appearance. Rocker Bruce Springsteen will pump up the crowd at the outdoor venue later Monday morning.
Obama moves on to Columbus, Ohio and Des Moines, Iowa. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will also be in Columbus, Ohio Monday, along with Florida, Virginia and New Hampshire.
The candidates' schedules left little doubt where Tuesday's election will be won or lost. Obama was in Milwaukee on Saturday.
