Northland Pines to Offer Free iPad Training

Northland Pines Staff in Eagle River is offering four free training sessions for parents and community members about what iPads are and how to use them. If you want to know more about iPads before you buy one or if you have one and would like to learn how to use it - this is your chance!

Organizers ask if you have an iPad bring it along, if you do not you will still get a lot out of the evening. Each event will be the same, however anyone is welcome to come to one or as many as they would like.

Tuesday, January 22nd Northland Pines High School Commons 6:30 p.m. - ?
Thursday, January 24th St. Germain Elementary Library 6:30 p.m. - ?
Monday, February 4th Northland Pines High School Commons 6:30 p.m. - ?
Wednesday, February 6th Land O'Lakes Elementary Library 6:30 p.m. - ?

There will be two groups:
1. Beginner - Do not have an iPad; just received one; still in the box and not sure where to begin.
2. Intermediate - Know how to use most of the buttons and can do some items but would like to learn more.

We ask that you call or email to register so we know how many staff will be needed to help train. When you call or email please indicate date and what group you would like to be placed in. Please contact Karen Siegmeier at Northland Pines High School at 715-479-4473 ext.0210 or email her at ksiegmeier@npsd.k12.wi.us to register for the class.

Contact Scott Foster, Director of Technology, (715-891-1198 or sfoster@npsd.k12.wi.us ), with any questions regarding these training sessions.
