FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- Police in Fond du Lac say no explosives were found in a search of an apartment building where a 40-year-old man engaged in a standoff with officers on Monday.
The Reporter Media reports the man is expected to appear in court Thursday. He has been arrested but not yet charged.
The man is suspected of setting fire to his former home about an hour before the standoff began. The home was foreclosed last year.
Police say the man then barricaded himself inside a brick five-unit, two-story building at a mobile home park. Police say they found weapons in his first-floor apartment there, but no explosives.
Police say the man shot at officers during the standoff, and they're looking into whether he owned his guns legally.
