The Portage County Sheriff's Department says no one was seriously injured following a collision between two semis Friday morning in Plover.
The Sheriff’s Office says the call came in around 9 a.m. reporting the crash on the State Highway 54 overpass to Interstate-39. One southbound semi on I-39 exited and made a left turn in front of an eastbound semi. The two trucks collided in the intersection and wound up on the overpass, blocking both lanes.
The department says only one driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
The State Patrol, Plover Fire Department, Portage County Ambulance Service, Highway Department, and the Sheriff’s Office all responded.
