No Repeat for Storm, Lose in Semifinals

The Central Wisconsin Storm lost to Onalaska in the state hockey semifinals by a 5-4 score.

The game was a rematch of last years state championship, which the Storm.

The Storm jumped out to leads of 1-0 and 2-1, but the Hilltoppers scored 3 straight goals between the end of the first period and the start of the second for a 4-2 lead.

Central Wisconsin pulled to within 4-3, but the Hilltoppers scored their 5th goal less than a minute into the 3rd period.

The Storm finish their season 24-2-1.
