Four units and eight fire fighters responded to a reported fire in the Dryer/Hopper System at Quality Ingredients, 211 E. Depot Street in Marshfield.
A press release from Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department says the "quick and efficient action by plant personnel minimized the damage."
Marshfield Fire and Rescue conducted an interior attack on the second floor of Quality Ingredients through three different vent access areas to cool and suppress the fire.
The fire was reported under control just after 4:30 am Sunday morning.
No injuries were reported. Minor heat damage could be found inside vent tubing and hopper.
