GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Brown County's top prosecutor says he will not pursue any charges against the teenager who brought a pellet gun to a Green Bay school.
A staff member at East High School reported seeing a boy with a gun in the hallway Monday. Police officers, with guns drawn, rushed to the school and cleared out summer school students. The 15-year-old boy and a girl who was with him were arrested and later released.
Police recommended the boy be charged with disorderly conduct, But, District Attorney David Lasee says there's no evidence the boy was threatening anyone with the weapon. Press-Gazette Media reports Lasee said he didn't know why the teen brought the gun to school.
