WAUPACA, Wis. (AP) -- A jury has convicted a New London man of first-degree intentional homicide in a 2007 stabbing death.
Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said Thursday that 35-year-old Chad Magolski was convicted in Waupaca County.
After a four-day trial, jurors convicted Magolski of killing 77-year-old James Park in Park's New London apartment in December 2007.
Magolski lived in a different unit in the building at the time. The complaint suggested that Magolski killed Park in a robbery and used some of the money to pay his overdue rent and utilities.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 12.
