New research suggests you may be 'hangry' with your spouse

New research published in the medical journal PNAS takes a look at marriages and hunger.

Is it easy to lose your temper with your spouse from time to time and do you ever get "hangry?" It's a real thing.

Hangry is when hunger leads someone to become angry.

Researchers found a powerful link between low blood sugar and higher levels of aggression among spouses.

The study suggests that the hungrier you are, the less self-control you have and the more aggressive you get.

They say the target of that aggression is usually your spouse.
