OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- A Menasha teenager has been sentenced to two years probation for trying to run down two girls with her car last March.

A judge in Winnebago County Tuesday also ordered 18-year-old Ashli Lindvig to perform 100 hours of community service.

Lindvig pleaded no contest to charges of substantial battery and negligent operation of a dangerous weapon for hitting the girls with her car during an altercation.

Lindvig allegedly had physical altercations with the girls in the days leading up to the incident. All three teens made multiple derogatory postings on Facebook as well.

WLUK-TV reports Lindvig apologized to the victims and said she is already making positive changes in her life.

If Lindvig successfully completes her probation, she will be eligible to have her criminal record erased.
