A lieutenant with the Merrill Police Department says about $400 worth of meth was located after a traffic stop Sunday night in Merrill.

Officers say they stopped Timothy Lemke, 28, for a traffic violation on West Main Street near the intersection of Valley Street.

Officers say they located four grams of methamphetamine concealed in a cell phone.

According to a press release, Lemke’s arrest was one of three drug impaired driving arrests made by the Merrill Police Department during the weekend.

Lemke is free on a $2,000 signature bond.
