A Portage County motorcyclist is in the hospital after he hit a deer and was struck by a car. The 56-year old Rosholt man was heading east on CTH CC around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday near the Town of Sharon when he crashed into a deer with his motorcycle, according to the Portage County Sheriff's Office.
A call to dispatchers indicated the man was lying in the road and was later hit by another vehicle headed east.
The man was flown to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for treatment. No word on the extent of his injuries. No charges are expected to be filed.
