A Mosinee man accused of fatally striking a bicyclist with his vehicle will learn Wednesday if his case with move forward.
Tracy Kruzicki, 43, is charged with driving while suspended- causing death.
Investigators say Tammy Gass, 44, died after she was hit by a car driven by Kruzicki on Highway KK in Mosinee on May 23. According to a coroner's report, Gass died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
Kruzicki was taken to the hospital following the crash for a blood draw to determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, which is standard protocol.
According to a criminal complaint, investigators found it was negligence, not distracted driving or impairment that caused the accident.
When asked what happened, Kruzicki told police that he just didn't see her.
Gass' previous husband, 41-year-old Gregg Bednorski, died Sept. 18, 2008, after crashing his bicycle into a parked car on same road Gass died.
If convicted Kruzicki faces a maximum sentence of six years in prison.
