The Plover woman, whose home was condemned after it was found to have more than 100 rats inside, is now facing criminal charges after trying to break back into that home.
According to the manager of Birch Tree Estates Mobile Home Park, a neighbor noticed Darlene Flatoff walking around the home Friday evening. They then called police who arrested Flatoff for trespassing.
The home has been condemned and is said to be unlivable. An exterminator has been working to get all the rats out for the past two weeks.
At this point, the property manager tells NewsChannel 7 they have captured 51 of the rats. He says the exterminator believes there are still 40 to 50 rats still inside the home.
