Family, friends, and the community are remembering a little baby boy who fought the battle of his life. And they're doing it by building a cabin.
Treyden Kurtzweil was just eight months old when we first introduced him to you back in March while he was fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He lost his battle in June, just days after his 1st birthday.
As a memorial, "Treyden's Cabin" will be built inside Marshfield Clinic, so that others can be comforted during difficult times.
"We do not want it to be a waiting room, we want it to be an amazing family room," says Dr. Michael McManus, of the Marshfield Clinic. "It's a place where the children can play and where families can meet."
It will take $50,000 dollars to complete the cabin. Click here to make a donation.
