Merrill's Jesperson to Face Badgers Wednesday
Wednesday's game between the Badgers and Virginia has several storylines.
UVA coach Tony Bennett was an assistant with the Badgers both under his dad Dick Bennett and Bo Ryan.
And it marks the quasi-homecoming for Merrill's Paul Jesperson. Jesperson is a sophomore for the Cavaliers.
The former NewsChannel 7 All-Star has played all 6 games, started the last 5 and is coming off a career-best 9 points last week.
The Badgers showed some interest in Jesperson, but never offered a scholarship.
