Three people are behind bars in Lincoln County after a traffic stop Sunday night.
According to a news release, a Merrill Police Officer stopped a vehicle for not having the right license plates. The driver, later identified as Cassiopia Conlin, 23, initially gave the officer a fake name. Conlin was taken into custody after investigators learned there were two warrants out for her arrest.
Conlin's vehicle was searched and officers found multiple items used to make meth, heroin and LSD. Some of the items are believed to have belonged to the other passengers in the car; Jimmie Joannon, 38 of Merrill and Danny Hanson, 49 of Wausau.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Conlin and Joannon's apartment and found more items pertaining drug manufacturing.
Officers seized 84 grams of methamphetamine, nearly three grams of heroin and nearly 1 gram of LSD. The value of the drugs is estimated to be around $20,000.
A second search of Conlin's vehicle revealed a hidden compartment that contained a large amount of meth.
Conlin, Joannon, and Hanson made their initial appearances in Lincoln County Court Tuesday. Conlin is facing nine drug related charges and one count of bail jumping. She's in custody on a $7,500 cash bond. Joannon is facing 10 drug related charges along with one count of bail jumping. His bond is also $7,500 cash. A judge has set Hanson's bond at $20,000. He is facing seven drug-related charges and a count of bail jumping.
All three will return to court on Dec. 6.
