The Merrill Police Department says they believe they've put a stop to door-to-door sales complaints that were being reported in the area.
Police says the suspect vehicle was located Monday in Merrill and the three occupants were unregistered transient merchants trying to use the raffle tickets as a start-up to their vacuum sales.
Police says one of the three lied about his identity, but was ultimately identified and arrested for a warrant from Eau Claire County. The other two tried to corroborate the false identity of the wanted suspect and were cited for Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
Last week, the Merrill PD asked for information helping them track down the suspects.
