The Portage County Sheriff's Department believes a medical condition was a factor in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday evening near Junction City.
The department says the driver, a 56-year-old man, was driving west on Highway 10 in the eastbound lane. The man struck a guardrail, crossed the median and hit several trees. The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved. Alcohol was not a factor and no citations will be issued.
The Portage County Sheriff's Department says the driver was incapacitated when EMS crews arrived. An update on the man's condition was not immediately available.
