A Marshfield man accused of stealing $14,000 worth of jewelry is due back in court next month to enter a plea.
According to a Marshfield newspaper, Zachary Clement is accused to taking three rings from a home he was visiting. Clement took the rings to a jewelry store for appraisal, but an employee suspected it was a theft case and called police.
According to the criminal complaint, obtained by the paper, Clement told police he had been drinking at the time of the theft.
He's due back in court September 14.
