A 23-year-old Marshfield accused of holding a pregnant woman against her will and threatening to burn her and her unborn child is set to enter a plea Monday in Wood County Court.
Tyler Ress is charged with false imprisonment, strangulation, recklessly endangering safety and attempted abortion.
Ress is also accused of dousing the victim with gasoline and punching her in the stomach multiple times.The victim also says the man tried to strangle her.
According to a press release, it happened at a home on East 21st Street in Marshfield on September 29.
Police say the 28-year-old victim tried to escape many times during a two to three hour time frame.
The victim was treated for minor injuries and released.
