Marquette has earned the third seed in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament.
They will play 14th seeded Davidson in Lexington, Kentucky on Thursday.
If they advance past Davidson, the Golden Eagles would play the winner of Butler and Bucknell.
Coach Buzz Williams and company are happy about the seeding, but know it's where they go from here that counts.
"We were an eleven seed the first time we went to the Sweet 16, and we were a three seed last year. So I don't know if seeding necessarily dictates success," said Williams.
Senior Junior Cadougan talked about the opportunity moving forward for the Golden Eagle's.
